In a previous blog I made mention of the new proof verification system at ICS. I decided to expand this topic and show a more detailed video that encompasses the calibration process. In order to provide industry compliant proofs, we must first make sure our Epson proofing system is calibrated to certain standards. Prefered format when export to PDF from InDesign

With all the flexibility that InDesign offers, the opportunity to export files to multiple PDF formats has raised questions in the prepress industry. At ICSwe use InDesigns flexibility to help streamline our workflow in attempts to meet tight deadlines while holding high accuracy standards. At one time printing files directly to Prinergy was our workflow. Today we export directly from InDesign using the PDF\x-1a preset and using a Prinergy hot folder, verify compliancy.
